The Scientific name for Albertosaurus is “Alberta Lizard”. Can you guess why it’s named “Albertosaurus”? Well, this awesome Dino was found in Alberta, Canada. This dino is classified as a “Tyrannosaurid Theropod Dinosaur”. This type of dino lived in the Western part of North America.It is said to be classified as this because, it has 2 tiny hand-fingered arms, just like Rexxy (Tyrannosaurus Rex). It had a HUGE head and dozens of sharp teeth just like Rexxy, and was said to be at the Top of it’s Food Chain! I wouldn’t get into a fight with this guy! They, even shared more Characteristic’s than just the Tiny Arms and Head. No, they shared thing’s like: Similar Body Aspects They even balanced the Big Head, Chest Area, and Tail the same way But, Tyrannosaurid limbs were very very small even for their Body size (explaining the small arms). Their hind legs were long, and at the end they had Four Toes. The Albertosaurus was estimated to reach “8-13 miles per hour” when running! Peace in the East!
